Pulling Double-Duty to Successfully Implement MedComms & PromoMats
The Situation
After evaluating their current solutions, AbbVie looked to standardize business process around the globe with MedComms and PromoMats, in addition to delivering a more robust business solution. AbbVie needed a comprehensive, global learning plan that included mapping old workflows to new processes and steps.
The Challenge
Global and simultaneous implementation of two major platforms, different terminology, and new work processes were the main challenges.
The Solution
LPW was chosen to build a strategic roadmap and training implementation plan to support all requirements for a successful implementation. Our instructional methodology was based on a comprehensive five-phase development and delivery model: Discover, Develop, Deliver, Measure & Continue. This approach fostered efficient & effective planning, collaboration, communication, and a strong framework for project success.
LPW deliverables included in-person and virtual Instructor-Led Training, Quick Reference Cards, and eLearning solutions for post rollout.
Business Impact
AbbVie successfully implemented both MedComms and PromoMats and gained efficiencies with the new systems. End users were well prepared for the change and were proficient in the new systems by the conclusion of the training plan.
